Our Healthy recipe: Chicken and green lentil salad

This healthy recipe is within the ‘’diet for health’’ vision that we want to share with you. It is a hearty, filling dish that’s brimming with fresh and healthy goodies and home-grown chicken.

The recipe serves 4; it takes about 5 mins to prepare.

The Ingredients

4 1lb tins of green lentils, drained and rinsed

3.5 oz of young leaf spinach, washed

4 spring onions, washed, trimmed and finely sliced

3.5 oz radishes, washed, trimmed and finely sliced

4 tbsp honey and mustard dressing

8.5 oz roast chicken breast fillet, skin removed and thinly sliced

The execution

  1. Put the lentils, spinach, spring onions and radishes into a large bowl. Drizzle over the dressing and toss together to combine.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breast and gently fold through. Season with black pepper to taste.
  3. Divide between four bowls and serve

As you can see this healthy diet is easy and surely it contributes in maintaining your health and fitness.
